Your yes meet across the room. Does he think you look hot in that dress or just plain frumpy? You want to ask her out but is that a flirtatious look she’s shooting you or a dirty one!
You’ve been going out together for months but do you still find her as unpredictable as the weather? Love-o-logy isn’t simple. But it won’t seem like Greek either, if you increase your chances of getting lucky in love with these tips.
What’s she thinking?
Women are more emotionally complex. Understanding their body language is a bit tougher. Here are some tips to get you started:
Eyes : Are her pupils dilated? When a woman is attracted to you, her pupils will dilate slightly while interacting with you. And she has no control over it. Great cue to use with a shy woman.
Hair : Is she tossing her hair or running her fingers through them repeatedly? You could get lucky.
Touch : If she starts touching her face, arms, neck in your presence then she would like you to take notice of her.
Leaning in : If her shoulders and knees are pointing towards you, then that’s an even more positive sign.
Signs he will ask you out
He raises his eyebrows . When a man sees someone he’s into, he’ll automatically lift and lower his eyebrows, wrinkling his forehead in the process. But you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled to catch a glimpse of this tell-tale signal.
He tilts his head slightly to the side when your eyes meet . The head tilt is a subconscious come–hither signal that the guy is interested in you.
He can’t wipe off that wide-smile . Consider it the “Wow, you give me butterflies smile.” If it’s accompanied by a hearty laugh, look out. If he were any more into you, he might get down on one knee!
He mirrors you . Mirroring gestures are where the guy picks up his glass to drink at the same time as you, or makes similar movements with his body at the same time as you. He may cross or uncross his legs when you do or make similar hand gestures.
He extends his palm . When a guy offers his palm to you, face up, you know hands down he’s hooked. He’s literally and figuratively reaching out to the person he’s speaking with in an attempt to connect on a deeper emotional level.
He holds a long, piercing gaze . He’s doing that as he wants to date you. But if it’s a long term relationship you’re looking for, pass it up. Because although you may think he’s smitten, he could be playing you. Holding intense eye contact for more than five seconds doesn’t happen naturally, so he may be using the look solely as a player’s technique to get what he wants!
‘He’s-just-not-that-into-you’ language
He averts his eyes . Your man will reduce eye contact. He’s subconsciously aware that one peek into his peepers will reveal his inner feelings.
He turns his cheek mid-conversation . Occasionally averting his eyes or scanning the room is normal, but if you find yourself talking mostly to his profile, you’re in trouble.
When you ask him if he still loves you, does he covers his mouth with his hand? When he unconsciously obstructs your view of his lips, it’s a sign that he’s trying to block the truth from slipping out. In addition, he might lick his lips and look away from you, directing his eyes down and to the right.
When you are attempting to have a serious conversation with him, does he avoid eye contact? Then, he is effectively telling you that he doesn’t want the conversation. Fiddling is another gesture made when nervous to distract you and to quell his anxiety.
Is he in it for the long-term?
He says good-bye with a peck. If nine times out of ten he plants a tender kiss on your cheek, then it suggests a paternal instinct. He wants to take care of you. He slouches his shoulders. When we find another’s actions adorable, we often want to hold that person tight. As a result, the shoulders automatically round off. This slump indicates attraction, even better, a serious emotional undercurrent. In case of a long-term boyfriend, this shoulder roll is a sign that one of your quirks has tugged on his heartstrings.
